The VHF vehicle mounted antenna is end-fed in design covering the frequency band 30-88MHz and is suitable for all platforms that present a ground plane. The overall length of the antenna is 2.6m thereby presenting a more covert profile than a centre-fed dipole. The antenna can be supplied with a 3/6 hole NATO or 4 hole US pattern base which must be specified at the time of ordering. It can be used with the upper whip section only for use by forward reconnaissance units. When using one section reduced performance can be expected.
