Racal Antennas strategic marketing alliance with The Shakespeare Company has enabled a broader portfolio of products to be offered to the market. The 5000-9101 antenna is a broadband centre fed whip covering the whole of the UHF frequency band of 225 to 470MHz. It is designed for use on military installations and vehicles where electrical isolation of the antenna is desirable and in positions where a ground plane is not available. The single element is mounted on a rugged high pressure moulded composite base using a robust stainless steel coil spring to reduce impact shock. Base fixings to the vehicle are UK/NATO 3/6 as standard (USA 4 hole pattern available on request)
