The 4009 antenna is a broadband centre fed whip covering the whole of the UHF frequency band of 225 to 450MHz. It is designed for use on military installations and vehicles where electrical isolation of the antenna is desirable and in positions where a ground plane is not available. The single element is mounted on a rugged thermoplastic moulded base using a robust stainless steel coil spring to reduce impact shock. The antenna and base assembly will be supplied with an antenna base fixing kit consisting of a gasket and fixings. Base fixings to the vehicle are UK/NATO 3/6 or USA 4 hole pattern.
