The 3040-900 VHF centre-fed fibreglass whip antenna has been developed for shipboard applications. This ground independent antenna, operating at up to 100W CW, can be mounted in a variety of positions without reducing the performance across the frequency band 30-108 MHz. Antenna type 3040-900 has been fully tested to meet the demands of equipment used in a Shipboard Military Environment.
