Designed for supporting small lightweight whips and wire antennas the 3030-900 man portable mast kit is easily deployed by the foot soldier.  Using modern composite materials the 3030-900 ultra lightweight mast is suitable for worldwide use.  Twelve GRP tube sections slot-together with two level three lane guying and ground hardware.  The complete kit packs down into a small, easy to handle carrying case.  A halyard is provided in the kit for hauling up wire antennas after the mast has been erected.

The mast can also be used with the Racal VHF ground spike antenna type 3020-920 when deployed in an elevated mode for improved range performance.
