The 5.4m mast is suitable for supporting all lightweight antennas for HF/VHF and UHF applications. It is designed with the infantry soldier in mind and comprises of nine 600mm GRP sections and a lightweight mounting kit. The mast and kit can be shared amongst a section of soldiers giving capability to erect elevated VHF/UHF antennas or support long-range HF skywave antennas from an operational area.
