Racal Antennas series of composite telescopic support masts are manufactured by their subsidiary company Mastsystem Int’l Oy.
The EX105 series mast is designed for headloads up to 30 kg with heights available up to 15 meters. Mast sections are made from pultruded composite tubes with aluminium and stainless steel fittings. Masts can be elevated using a manual winch or with an optional electrically operated winch. EX105 masts sections move inside each other on guides which prevent the sections from turning. Once erected the mast can still be rotated by 360 degrees and locked in position. Mounting kits are available for ground, vehicles and shelters, as well as a variety of other ancillary equipment.
Mastsystem Int’l Oy manufactures six main mast product series: TM, TR, TX, EX, EXL and EXB, with masts heights available from three to fifty metres. All masts are designed to meet the demanding requirements of mobile communications systems. Typical applications include defence, emergency services, survey, broadcast and temporary illumination. Every mast is designed and manufactured to operate in environmental extremes such as the arctic, desert and the tropics.
