The 3004-920 is a high gain directional wire antenna supplied in a small compact carrying case. The antenna is ideally suited for communications to or from those stations who, for operational reasons, are outside the range of omni-directional antennas. Providing greater than 6dBi gain over omni-directional antennas the 3004-920 can be deployed for inter-operation with similar directional antennas for point to point links or with vehicle mounted, manpack or portable radios where enhanced sector coverage is required. Covering the full frequency band 30-108MHz without adjustment or tuning the antenna can be quickly deployed either as a full size or half size depending on the available area for installation.
The 3004-920 is capable of being supported at a height of 9metres by Racal Antennas general purposes lightweight telescopic mast type 3005-900 or similar masts fitted with a 24mm top socket.
